I know PC owns all but i'm sick of people and nerds going "OMG xbox360 with its l33t graphic will owns all" shees.. i'll take a motherboard with SLI setting, slap in two Nivida 7800 than put in a Intel Extreme Processor..that would surpass the graphic and processing power of xbox360.

And the game magazine like (EGM, Game Informer) is hyping up XBOX360 to be the best system in the next gen battle... just sicken me how gillible these people can get with xbox360. Or should i say crapbox360!

A PC is versatile! It can do more things than a console can...

You can upgrade it instead of waiting for the "next-gen" consoles.
Patches are also nice to squish those bugs.
FPS is more accurate for me.

Online competitive play is free.

But they are actually in the transition of making a console more like a pc.

The computer he wants would cost more like 3,000 dollars. I don't think everyone can afford that.

Both of the consol and his new computer will be obsolete in the 2-3 years it takes to make the next generation of consols. Sometimes i think us PC gamers are getting the short end of the stick.. Sure you can upgrade your computer, but its expensive. I never buy top of the line processors anymore, youd be suprised how much the price drops for just .2 or .4 of a gigaherts less.

Trust me, Im a PC Gamer and a graphic artist. I have always had faith in the PC and i vastly perfer it to the consols, although i play them too. If anything consols are becoming more and more like gaming PC's, they contain the same technologies produced by the same companys as the PC producers. Im waiting for them to put an OS on one of them, It has to be coming soon.

It essentially is a PC..
Its processor is a triple core 3.2 gig proccessor made by IBM PowerPC

512MB of ram
Small 20 gig Harddrive

What the hell is keeping them from putting a moniter output on the back of that thing. And an option for keyboard and mouse. Mointers are a hell of allot cheaper then HDTV's and are higher res anyway. Im telling ya, windows is gonna come standard with the next gen XBOX after this one.

The thing about consoles is the fact that companies rarely ever make much or any money on them. The xbox was to attract fans so they can make money on the 360. They probably won't even make much on it. If at all. They make money on the fact that you will buy the games. "The xbox was an investment" and i believe it was quoted from bill gates.

*edit* I'll but the 360 and wait for someone to find the way to crack it and then BAM brand new computer bois

Really interested to see how Nintendo next gen system will do. All i know that Nintendo plan always involved using old school remake like Mario, Zelda, and the donkey kong series. Wonder if they will create new mascot this time for Revolution?

I'm getting ps3 and revolution instead because...
PS3=better graphics
Revolution=arm exercise...

I don't normally play many games, but if I had to choose. I'll get a PS3, because I enjoy the Final Fantasy series of games. Other than that a computer is just fine for me.

so about half of you will get xbox360.. and 4 (me, avaril, chris and someone else) will get PS3!

For your information, Chris, Final Fantasy series will be on PS3 but the main team is split up so they're also doing project for Xbox360!

For something that is made in quantities of a million+ with parts that are cheap to OEMs especially in that quantity I bet they do make quite a bit of money.

I bet the next gen system doesn't cost them more than they are selling now. heck for all we know, Xbox 360 might cost Microsoft only 100 dollars to make. (Microsoft did made the original Xbox out a factory in Mexico *no offense*)

What i don't get is why companies and publishers going to charge the consumers a retail price of $59,99 for next gen games? From a magazine that i saw, it statecompanies need a budget of at least 10 million or more to developed a next gen game? but seriously, all they doing is to make the graphic better looking, you still can't do things in games that make the world more realistic (like destory every building in the environment or interact with characters or items). So why is $59,99 a reasonable price if the next gen games is just prettier looking?
